Hey there! I hope you don't let the minor kerfuffle at the deletion discussion get you down. I think the discussion would have gone to a "merge" decision eventually, anyway. AND most of the time, even when lots of people have said "YES MERGE THEM PLZ," no one actually does, so it falls to other editors to do the chore. So, you may have been a little quick on the draw, but I really appreciate that you DID something.

There are a couple of things that need to be done for "housekeeping" before that merge is complete. User:Liz left the link to Wikipedia's merging procedures. I find those instructions a little intimidating, so I use this more streamlined list--don't fear, it's mostly copy & paste/fill in the blank stuff, but it's necessary to make sure we retain the history and attributions at the merged article.

1. Add this to the Target Article in an edit summary: Merged content from ''source page'' to here. See [[Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/ARTICLENAME]].
2. Blank EVERYTHING on the source article and create a REDIRECT by adding #REDIRECT [[destination page]] {{R from merge}}
3. Publish that new redirect page with this edit summary: Merged content to ''destination page''. See [[Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/ARTICLENAME]].
4. Add this to the very top of the Talk page of the merged article (the one that is now a redirect), replacing the article name and the date {{merged-to|destination page name|date}}
5. Add this to the very top of the Talk page of the "merged into" article, replacing the article name and the date: {{merged-from|source page name|date}}

My apologies, that was indeed a mistake. I'm currently adding on to/re-working several "videogames-based-on-cartoons" pages at the same time, including that one.

Please stop your disruptive editing. Like I said, I'm trying to re-work a lot of articles from List of video games based on cartoons, but I now realize how making a bunch of quick & successive edits to a lot of those article came across as "disruptive," as its described on the Disruptive Editing page.

I removed portions from several of those pages, as there was simply no information available to add, or I deemed them unnecessary. I apologize for not providing an explanation for all of my recent edits, as I thought some of them didn't warrant an explanation, but if I need to explain -all- of my edits, then I'll gladly do so. Again, my apologies for being new and not knowing all of the basics.

The Hot Wheels page is an example of me helpfully re-working the bulletpointed "Features" list into a more cohesive Summary section. Feel free to reverse any of my edits that you deem disruptive, but please know that I'm just trying to help and have no ill-intent.

It's not about ill-intent. It's about disruptive results. I'm repeatedly finding that you're removing sourced content and inline citations without any explanation and with no appearance of improving the article. Again, my apologies. The only time I purposefully and meaningfully removed sourced content/citations was the Bart Simpson article, as I tried to explain why in my Edit Explanation. If I somehow did that on another article, then I apologize and will refrain from removing other's citations, even if I deem them unnecessary or unavailable. I'll also be sure that I explain & improve an article if I chose to remove anything in the future.

Proper way to insert images in infoboxes

Hello @SMT153. I am @Archer1234. I noticed your recent edit to Adventureland Bazaar where you added an image to the infobox. I want to let you know that the way you added the image was not done according to Wikipedia's Manual of Style (see WP:INFOBOXIMAGE).

When adding an image to an infobox, thumbnails should NOT be used. Simply supplying the file name will work. For example, to use File:Image PlaceHolder.png, you can simply use |image=Image PlaceHolder.png. Captions should be specified with the |caption= parameter. Every infobox is different and the documentation for the infobox in question should be consulted for the proper parameters to match the image and caption.

To fix

Do not use the full image syntax:

|image=[[File:SomeImage.jpg|thumb|Some image caption]]

Instead, just supply the name of the image. So, in this case you can simply do:

|image=SomeImage.jpg

and optionally:

|caption=Some image caption.

MobyGames is an unreliable source per WP:VG/RS as it is WP:USERGENERATED. Links to abandonware sites offering downloads of the game being discussed is also unreliable, and linking to copyright violations is an issue per WP:COPYLINK. Waxworker (talk) 00:22, 9 June 2023 (UTC)

Despite ai_Sponge being an extremely popular project, the only source I could find for it's Uberduck-related shutdown is...the Discord server (which I obviously can't use as a source). I tried to make-do with the UberDuck blog, knowing that still wouldn't suffice. As soon as a verified article discussing sponge_ai's shutdown is released, I'll be sure to add it!
