KALIMBEZA VILLAGE
Kalimbeza village is a village situated in caprivi region, it is situated 40 kilometers northern east of katima mulilo. Kalimbeza village is a very large area with a lot of people living there. It’s a very nice place where you can enjoy yourself when you go and visit it.
They are a lot of things and projects you can get at kalimbeza village, I will mention some of them. The first biggest thing is kalimbeza rice project, kalambeza rice project is situated in kalimbeza area, it’s a very large farm of rice it’s even visited regularly by the president of Namibia Dr Hifikepunye Pohamba. This rice project is really helping people living in kalimbeza area and even people living to the areas close to kalimbeza area by offering them employment to work at the farm. This rice project is really improving and their rice is bought by a lot of people. Kalimbeza rice is just like any other rice that you buy in any shops it’s very nice and taste.[1]
The other thing that you can get in kalimbeza is a lodge called island view lodge it is situated next to the river and next to the rice farm. It’s a very nice lodge where tourists visit every time, this lodge also helps people living in kalimbeza with employment.[2]
We also have kalimbeza fish farm where you can get a lot of fish in a fish pond, once the fishes grows very large they start selling them to people and make money, they really get a lot of money on the fish farm, you can also get kalimbeza rest camp for accomodation which is situated next to island view lodge.[3]
That’s all I can say about kalimbeza village and I think I mentioned all the important things that you can get in kalimbeza village. That’s what makes kalimbeza a very nice and loving place indeed.
