To Kill a Mockingbird

edit

I wanted to let you know that I reverted some of your edits to To Kill a Mockingbird. I have been working on this article for a few months now trying to get it rated as a Good Article, and in doing so, have written about 95% of the content of the article. On the book's talk page you can see the suggestions of other editors about how to make the article as good as possible, which includes streamlining the plot summary, keeping a consistent writing voice throughout the article, and adding as much referenced objective material as possible. I had to remove the year of the trial you added because I don't believe it's ever stated in the book the years it takes place. If you can find a year, please let me know what chapter it's in. It's a good idea to read the talk page of an article before editing it to make sure what you want to add doesn't conflict with what other editors are doing or have done in the past. If the article seems inactive or there is no apparent movement to improve it, you're fairly free to do what you want. However, if you want to work to really improve it, find out what other folks have done to the article and ask what you can do to help. Thanks. --Moni3 21:56, 25 October 2007 (UTC)Moni3Reply
