edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Yesica-toscanini03080601.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

Arturo Toscanini and Yesica Toscanini

edit

Just wanted to let you know that I reverted the Yesica Toscanini image back to the Arturo Toscanini Time cover issue from earlier. If you want to put your image in the Yesica article, then please do so. Having that eye candy on one of the most respected conductors in the world does not fit the article at all. If you have any questions on images, please consult Wikipedia:Images. This will give you full detail information on how to upload images properly. Thank you. Chris 01:09, 25 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for uploading Image:West_Yorks_Range_Rover.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

Please don't removed source information

edit

You might want to take a look at policies like WP:NPOV and WP:Verifiability. You removed this section [1] claiming it was biased information. This is inaccurate and the action was unacceptable as the information you removed was largely sourced. While parts of it may need to be re-written, removing sourced information because you disagree with it is against policy and I personally find this somewhat disgusting. This action was even more shocking given that the article contained a large unsourced trivia section. If you do feel your justified in completely removing sourced information, at least mention and post it in the talk page first. The fact is, whether you like it or not the movie was controversial for a number of reasons. This controversy can and should be documented in the article. It is up to the reader to decide if this controversy is fair or not, not for you to hide information you disagree with. WP:Undue weight means we shouldn't cover the controversy in excessive depth so perhaps the controversy section needs to be reduced but not removed completely. (In any case, the movie was fairly controversial for a number of reasons so it will have a long controversy section).Nil Einne 00:53, 3 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Metpolice1.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Metpolice1.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 08:40, 7 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Police V70 Marked.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 14:16, 24 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
