Hello, I'm GrapefruitSculpin. I noticed that in this edit to Christianity in Bhutan, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. GS 09:24, 15 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

Dashain edits

edit

It might be the case that the material you added to Dashain was a useful addition to the article. I didn't check to see if it was. My main reason for undoing your edit is that when copying material within Wikipedia it must be done in a particular way to properly credit all contributors.

Please see Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia for the proper way to copy material within Wikipedia.

You also removed a substantial amount of material without any explanation. It is possible that the removal was warranted however, at a minimum, should be an explanation in the edit summary and ideally a discussion on the talk page.--S Philbrick(Talk) 15:31, 15 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Rup Narayan Subedi

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Rup Narayan Subedi requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Proposed deletion of Mougou

edit

The article Mougou has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Too little information to be encyclopedic. Does not define the place (e.g., country) well enough for geographic places.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Regarding Speedy Deletion
Hello, Rup Narayan Subedi. Thank you for helping to build Wikipedia-- the world's largest free content encyclopedia. I'm sorry, but a page you created , Rup Narayan Subedi, has been deleted as meeting one or more of the Categories for Speedy Deletion. See the message above this one for more information about why this was deleted.
Wikipedia is an encyclopedia-- subjects of articles must meet notability guidelines with reliable sources providing verifiable information. Someone unconnected with the subject needs to have written a great deal about the subject.
Any deficiencies should be remedied before reposting as they can lead to repeated deletions.

If you want to try again, please use the Article Wizard to guide you through the creation process.

Copying within Wikipedia requires proper attribution

edit

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from several Wikipedia pages to Hinduism in Bhutan (your additions have since been removed). While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. If you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 19:24, 16 October 2017 (UTC)Reply
