Welcome, and thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test on the page Feargal Sharkey worked, and it has been reverted or removed. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you would like to experiment further, please use the sandbox. Thank you.   Please refrain from making test edits in Wikipedia articles, such as those you made to The Undertones, even if your ultimate intention is to fix them. Such edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment again, please use the sandbox. Thank you. If you want to change this on the page feel free to take this up on the discussion page. srushe (talk) 16:15, 3 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Please make an attempt to discuss your edits on Feargal Sharkey and The Undertones on their talk pages. I'd also like to point out to you Wikipedia policy on reverting. You can be blocked for repeated reverting without attempting consensus, even if you do not do more than 3 in 24 hours. You should also read Wikipedia policy on sock puppets. If you are the same person as IP 158.143.181.94 you are likely to have both accounts blocked. Please do not ignore this advice. Ignoring other editors and edit warring is something that will be allowed to continue. --Escape Orbit (Talk) 20:18, 3 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Sockpuppetry case

edit

You have been accused of sockpuppetry. Please refer to Wikipedia:Suspected sock puppets/Rumpabumpa for evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with notes for the suspect before editing the evidence page. Escape Orbit (Talk) 20:46, 26 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on The Undertones. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. Escape Orbit (Talk) 21:49, 28 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

This is the only warning you will receive. If you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did with this edit to Talk:The Undertones, you will be blocked from editing. Say Headcheese!--hexaChord2 22:39, 28 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for violating the three-revert rule at The Undertones. Please be more careful to discuss controversial changes or seek dispute resolution rather than engaging in an edit war. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below. CIreland (talk) 03:28, 29 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to The Undertones, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Once again I tell you to take it to the discussion page. srushe (talk) 18:28, 30 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
