Greenspun illustration project

Hello Rugby,

Are you aware that the Foundation has recently received 20 000 $ to encourage SVG images creation.

• Announce on foundation-l.
• PDF about the project.
• m:Philip Greenspun illustration project - pages about how the project will work (on meta), will be regularly updated as the project progresses.
• Leader : Brianna Laugher=user:Pfcdaylise brianna.laugher gmail.com.

The French Wikigraphists are really enthusiast for this project, but are still discuting if this rewarded project will not destroy the free and sharing spirit of the graphic labs.

English graphists of the GL are welcome to start their own talk on this issue, and to give advise to Brianna. Especially : how use this money without hurting the free volunteers who also help really much.

I notice that this image changed and was looking for the rationale behind this. Supposedly this is on a discussion page somewhere, however I couldn't find the discussion's whereabouts; Can you point me in the right direction? A link or somesuch would be most helpful. Removal of dot between M and E in Image:Own_windows_logo_me.svg

Please remove dot between M and E in Image:Own_windows_logo_me.svg, because this Windows is called ME and not M.E Inkscape doesn't work in my Windows Me and I can't do this change myself. Logos for Windows 2000 editions

Please create following logos for following Windows 2000 editions:

• Image:Own_windows_logo_2k_pro.svg
• Image:Own_windows_logo_2k_server.svg
• Image:Own_windows_logo_2k_adv_server.svg
• Image:Own_windows_logo_2k_dat_server.svg

with names exactly such as:

Pro    - for Windows 2000 Professional

Server - for Windows 2000 Server

Adv    - for Windows 2000 Advanced Server
Server

Dat    - for Windows 2000 Datacenter Server
Server
