I was updating the company Dietz & Watson's page to make the information more relevant and current. I added an external link to the company's clothing store in the body of a section about the launch of that store. I didn't realize this is not allowed; if I am unblocked I will not add any external links (outside of the references). Thanks.

Hi. Apologies I am new to this. I have picked a new username this time. As for the paid editing policy, from what I read i think I will place a disclaimer in the 'talk' section of the Dietz & Watson page and that will be satisfactory? I'm an employee of the advertising company hired by Dietz & Watson. I believe all content besides the external link that I had added to the page was simple fact. My purpose is to update the page with more current and relevant information, as it was becoming out-of-date.

Ok, I didn't know there are restrictions on the username ( i guess it can't have the word 'content' in it? ). I read the links the first mod sent to me, and it says on the paid-contribution page that a user is allowed to edit a page of a client if they disclose this information. But I see that near the bottom of that page it also says this is strongly discouraged, and that I should instead make suggestions on the talk page. Is that something I would be allowed to do? Make the suggestions and wait for someone else to review them?

Please include a decline or accept reason.
