PR

edit

In regard to your message. We are always going to have problems with those who want to press their private agends. I think a good solution would be creating a semi-protected template that will discourage vandals. I can do that later. Tony the Marine 00:21, 31 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Puerto Rico

edit

I not undoing anything, i am only adding content. You cannot simply say that PR has self government, whithout explaing that it is only internal government, and YES it is only internal unless we adquiere sovereignty, we clearly do not have it now. Puerto Rico is under US sovereignty (a fact not an opinion). Besides the local goverment organized by our local Contitution Puerto Ricans are also governed by a government outside the PR constitution, Can somebody in PR deny that we are also governed by the US federal government? NO. Then both government MUST be there on a WIKEPEDIA article, and whose the chief of the federal government? The president. It has to be there.

I am not removing the governor from the article, i am not removing the word Commonwealth from the article even thought an argument could be made that the word Commonwealth is simply an ambiguos word to describe an internal government, made possible by a local internal Constitution, and not removing PR from the territory clause of the US Constitution. I will not try to remove the word Commonwealth, there are references backing it, it is an ambigous word with multiple meanings, but a well established ambiguous word. Besides i respect the fact that half puerto ricans fell stronly about that word.

So i tell you, Please refrain from repeatedly undoing other people's edits, as you are doing in Puerto Rico.
