OK, 1, cute kitten. On the reason I am here, I have created a cool sandbox and shall get started at once. YEAH! Now NO one can revert my edits! YAY! At least on my sandbox. MY FAVORITE PAGE ON WIKIPEDIA!!!!! Ian (talk) 21:28, 25 October 2010 (UTC)

I'm done and have all of it on my clipboard (copied). Ian (talk) 22:03, 25 October 2010 (UTC)

Please answer. I don't get how to get the external link working. Copy and paste this link to you're URL bar. Please, then tell me the real name of it so I can get it to work. Ian (talk) 21:37, 26 October 2010 (UTC)

Why? → ROUX  22:52, 26 October 2010 (UTC)

The external link part of editing 101. Ian (talk) 23:16, 26 October 2010 (UTC)

(talk page stalker)Try adding another slash, like so: [http://dan-ball.jp/en/javagames/dust/ Powder game]. PrincessofLlyr royal court 13:53, 27 October 2010 (UTC)
I did. It won't work. Ian (talk) 21:37, 27 October 2010 (UTC)
Did you use "http://"? Brambleclawx 21:39, 27 October 2010 (UTC)
I sang, It worked!!!!!!!! Ian (talk) 21:41, 27 October 2010 (UTC)

Roux, when are you going to check it? I (in response to the adults and the **** word)can't have known your age, until you told me that you were an adult. I can check no matter what. You can start a talk page on it. I was going to do that anyway. I.P. (talk) 00:27, 31 October 2010 (UTC)

Check what? Ian, I am here to participate in writing and maintaining an encyclopedia. Not to play games and mess about with sandboxes and replying to talkpage comments that are over a year old. What are you here for? We have tried explaining kindly and patiently what Wikipedia is for and what you need to be doing differently. → ROUX  00:30, 31 October 2010 (UTC)

Happy Halloween! It's 10/31 today. Leave me a talkback. I.P. (talk) 20:30, 31 October 2010 (UTC)

Ok, Stop

Roux -

You are not the first editor I have warned tonight over this. With that said, however...

I place some blame for tonight's snafu on you, for your original scatalogical and confrontational (but not personal) ANI comment. And you clearly had multiple opportunities to assume good faith and/or use civility and grace to de-escalate the situation rather than get more angry and confrontational, and yet you chose not to.

These were not the editing behaviors of responsible Wikipedia editors. Combined with your somewhat problematic history of late this does not look good for you. You seem to have been very angry but slightly on the safe side of crossing the line into personal attacks in multiple responses on multiple pages tonight. This was not good, but was at least not disasterous or malign.

Please stop this. Step back at the very least from everyone else's talk pages. Preferably from the other editors' participation entirely. If you keep going you are likely to get into trouble. An informal and brief interaction ban with the two of them would be wise, though I am not going to impose one by administrative fiat at the moment.

Georgewilliamherbert (talk) 09:33, 31 October 2010 (UTC)

As replied on your talkpage, this 'warning' is unconnected with reality. → ROUX  10:31, 31 October 2010 (UTC)
George is on a mission. He only sees what he's looking for. Malleus Fatuorum 01:17, 1 November 2010 (UTC)
That appears to be an accurate assessment. → ROUX  01:23, 1 November 2010 (UTC)

Not a block evasion

Hello Roux. Will you please review your edits this and especially this. I don't quite know what you think is going on, but I believe that you are mistaken about something. -- 124.157.254.112 (talk) 11:55, 31 October 2010 (UTC)

You can undo my removal from the talk page without objection. The non-question needs to stay off the RD, however, for a wide variety of reasons, most important of which is not enabling block-evading trolls from sockpuppeting until they get their way. → ROUX  11:58, 31 October 2010 (UTC)
Thank you. I respectfully suggest that in the future when you discover that you have removed someone's post on a talk page in error, that, out of common courtesy, you restore it yourself, particularly when that editor is attempting to avoiding tit for tat reversions which server only to extend an edit war. -- 124.157.218.101 (talk) 05:25, 1 November 2010 (UTC)
I did not know it was an error until you brought it up, and felt that you would prefer to reinstate your comment yourself. Don't patronize me. → ROUX  11:51, 1 November 2010 (UTC)

reflinks.py

Apologies for my ignorance but what is reflinks.py? Dormskirk (talk) 23:49, 1 November 2010 (UTC)

It's a tool (located here) that takes bare links and fills in a {{cite web}} template. It tends to work better with bare links. However, all (or possibly all but one) of the references provided in the article are dead. → ROUX  00:04, 2 November 2010 (UTC)
OK. Thanks. I agree that the cite template is better. Dormskirk (talk) 00:14, 2 November 2010 (UTC)

No big

I just wanted to put the reply closest to the remark; and since it was at the end of a paragraph, I didn't think it would be problematic. --Orange Mike | Talk 13:41, 2 November 2010 (UTC)

Hi Roux. Just noting here that I've sent you an email regarding Canadian heraldry.--Brianann MacAmhlaidh (talk) 07:57, 3 November 2010 (UTC)

WT:DYK

Can you begin to implement your proposed ideas somehow, within a subpage of your userspace as a sandbox demonstration? -- Cirt (talk) 11:49, 3 November 2010 (UTC)

You can actually see a sort-of demonstration here, though that one simply displays a new hook (out of a pool of 288) on each pageload. Apparently that's not doable on the mainpage, I'll see what I can figure out. → ROUX  12:12, 3 November 2010 (UTC)
Okay, thanks, keep us posted. ;) -- Cirt (talk) 12:13, 3 November 2010 (UTC)
I can only figure out how to do what is in the link above. Someone with bot coding or javascripting knowledge will be needed to handle the proposed bot/script I suggested. → ROUX  18:10, 3 November 2010 (UTC)

how can i find out

How can i find out which disc mc mario is more likely to choose from on funky house sessions 2006, when my screan reader isn't really good with the whole tables thing? Is there anything you could do or any place that has something that will help me find out which one of the two discs from said album he would be more likely to choose songs from? Keep in mind, the mix is for the best house songs of 2006. 204.112.104.172 (talk) 22:04, 3 November 2010 (UTC)

You would need to ask MC Mario, not us. → ROUX  22:06, 3 November 2010 (UTC)

Are there any good sights without the tables that i can look at? i'm currently unable to contact him. -- Nissae Isen's Man 204.112.104.172 (talk) 22:18, 3 November 2010 (UTC)

I have absolutely no idea. You could try www.discogs.com or iTunes or similar. → ROUX  22:20, 3 November 2010 (UTC)

Outline of Canada

This lead article has been nominated twice for deletion in less than three years, most recently by you. However, each time it was kept by clear and overwhelming consensus. I suggest you move on. Bearian (talk) 16:44, 9 November 2010 (UTC)

Mutter (window manager)

You tagged Mutter (window manager) for speedy deletion as a page that was previously deleted via a deletion discussion (CSD G4). Unfortunately, the AfD discussion was cut short because the article was speedy-deleted as a copyright infringement. CSD G4 specifically excludes speedy-deleted articles, and in addition the new version is sufficiently rewritten that it is not "substantially identical to the deleted version", and does "address the reasons for which the material was deleted" (the copyright violation). Consequently if you want it deleted you will have to PROD it or take it to a new AfD. JamesBWatson (talk) 14:12, 11 November 2010 (UTC)

I am a newbie to english wikipedia. I rewritten the article mutter. I wrote the article because I think that this is an important subject in the coming gnome version. I given reference to some sites about this article. Still it going for speedy deletion then ok. Regeret me. I will hope in later some other will start the same article with more good content .
