Your account has been blocked indefinitely from editing because of the following problems: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business, organisation, group, or web site, which is against the username policy.

You may request a change of name and unblock if you intend to make useful contributions other than promoting your business or organization. To do this, first search Special:CentralAuth for available usernames that comply with the username policy. Once you have found an acceptable username, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked. In your reasons, you must:

  • Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure requirement.
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page. Cabayi (talk) 09:49, 28 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

Requested username:

Request reason:

  • I didn't realize that it's not allowed to create usernames with company names. So it would be nice to change that.
  • My planned contributions are indeed to create a new article about a company for which I am being paid. According to my information this isn't prohibited if the user discloses (see my talk and user page).
  • The entry I want to create is relevant according to wikipedias notability guideline (Invented new things in the market and won awards for that --> e.g. TR35 of the MIT). These relevance criteria can also be proved with multiple significant, independent, reliable and secondary sources (e.g. NY Times Article). Additionally, other very similar companies with fewer innovations and about the same size have an article on Wikipedia (e.g. Rome2rio)
How should I proceed to achieve that?

Decline reason:

Your choice of new username would be acceptable. Please see other stuff exists. Other similar articles existing does not automatically mean that yours can too. Not every business merits a Wikipedia article, even within the same field. It is true that paid editing is not forbidden if disclosed, but most people in your position have great difficulty with editing in the manner Wikipedia requires. Wikipedia is not a place for businesses to tell the world about themselves, even if they are not soliciting customers or selling something. A Wikipedia article about a business must summarize what independent reliable sources with significant coverage have chosen on their own to say about it, showing how it meets the special Wikipedia definition of a notable business. Proper sources do not include the company website, press releases, annoucements of routine business activities like the raising of capital or opening of locations, staff interviews, or other materials put out by the business. To succeed in writing about your business, you need to set aside all such materials and everything you know about it, and only write based on the content of independent sources with significant coverate. Most people have difficulty with doing that, as they are too close to their business to do so or have a purpose fundamentally incomptable with Wikipedia's. Most administrators(including me) will want to see evidence that you can edit dispassionately in other areas before permitting you to submit a draft about your company. If your only goal here is to, in the short term, edit about your company, this is the end of the road for your Wikipedia career. If you want to edit in other areas, please tell what those might be. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 09:18, 29 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
