A couple thoughts:

  • Is the Athletics part a different color on purpose? It stands out but it also looks kind of weird. I tried making Research light gray also (so it was like a dark-light-dark pattern) but I'm not sure what I think.
  • I also tried centering the right column. Also undecided as to its quality.
  • Added the univ logo (fair use? not sure) and "Articles about" text -- I thought the heading just looked weird based on where it was aligned but I couldn't do anything with it, so I tried this.

I think that's it for now. Let me know what you think. --SuperNova |T|C| 22:39, 1 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for your editing.
  • I left the Athletics a different color to see which one looked better. Didn't necessarily mean to checker it. Would you mind playing around with the grays/silvers to see which you prefer. I can't seem to find one I like.
  • The columns do look a little funky. I am going to try and create one long column on top, but I will have to research that one.
  • Thanks for adding the logo, that was on my to-do list. The circle above the arch is hard to see so I did one where I removed it. What do you think? Low-res logo is fair-use according that blurb when uploading so I think we are probably good. --Roswell native 01:28, 3 June 2006 (UTC)Reply
Few more edits. What do you think about this layout? I was thinking about making a black border on the sides of the header box. --Roswell native 04:10, 3 June 2006 (UTC)Reply
Looks pretty good. I think maybe the black borders are a little too thick; maybe if you thinned those out some and then add it on the sides like you mentioned? --SuperNova |T|C| 06:08, 5 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Logos in templates

edit

Based upon an edit by an administrator to UGAcats, I have learned that logos are not allowed in the template space. Accordingly, they will have to be deleted. Perhaps you could use a bolded UGA instead?? --Tlmclain | Talk 13:18, 8 December 2006 (UTC)Reply
