KY-68

edit

Hi, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thanks for your contributions, but I'm afraid we can't accept KY-68 as an article without permission to use it under the free license that Wikipedia uses (the GFDL), and, in particular, the GFDL allows for-profit use. We can write our own articles based on published sources, but we can't normally copy and paste from other websites. Perhaps we can rewrite this one? With regard to the KY-68 images, they look as if they come from a US government document, in which case we could use them freely, as they would be in the public domain (e.g., Template:PD-USGov-NSA). — Matt Crypto 10:01, 29 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

I have rewritten the article and found the original source for the picture - dropped a note in your talk. Roidhun 14:51, 29 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

NowCommons: File:Ky68 01.jpg

edit

File:Ky68 01.jpg is now available on Wikimedia Commons as Commons:File:US Military KY-68 phone.jpg. This is a repository of free media that can be used on all Wikimedia wikis. The image will be deleted from Wikipedia, but this doesn't mean it can't be used anymore. You can embed an image uploaded to Commons like you would an image uploaded to Wikipedia, in this case: [[File:US Military KY-68 phone.jpg]]. Note that this is an automated message to inform you about the move. This bot did not copy the image itself. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 05:47, 29 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Keymat

edit

The article Keymat has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Dicdef, unsourced since forever

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
