What I posted to these pages was not self-promotion or soapboxing, but sharing information on filming locations. I don't understand why you are deleting these.

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for advertising or promotion. From your contributions, this seems to be your only purpose. All of my contributions were adding filming location information to movies, so I don't see how this is considered advertising or promotion. Please explain.

I understand that, I only cited my website as it had the actual addresses and information which I thought was necessary as proof for publishing.

As I said, your web site is not considered a reliable source of information. Personal and self-published sites rarely meet our criteria for reliable sources unless you are a known and recognized expert in the field. Sorry, I was just trying to confirm and understand what you were saying.

To recap:

• Wikipedia is not a place to add links to or promote your web site, as it is not considered reliable or authoritative.
• Text you add to Wikipedia must be cited to a reliable source (for more information, see Wikipedia:Identifying reliable sources and Wikipedia:Citing sources).
