Can you please follow simple courtesy in posting talk pages, especially user talk pages? Like putting your messages at the end of the page (clicking "+" at the right of edit this page would be easier)? --Howard the Duck 13:33, 14 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Sen. Gordon on the Tambayan Announcements edit

Hi! I noticed the annoucement you added on the main Tambayan page. Is this true? If so, is there any source for this statement from Sen. Gordon? Thanks --- Tito Pao 05:58, 15 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the information. I've alerted the Tambayan community about this, so let us please continue the discussion from there. I will be posting my reply from there after I write this one. --- Tito Pao 08:02, 15 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
Howard the Duck didn't do it unilaterally, there was a consensus reached. Discussions in Wikipedia talk:Tambayan Philippines are where most of the consensus are made for Philippine related articles, unless they get lengthy they then proceed to the article discussion page. So editors are encouraged to check out Wikipedia talk:Tambayan Philippines regularly.
With regard to your supposed email from Senator Gordon, i don't think Philippine jurisprudence covers wikipedia, since the server is not in the Philippines. It's like forcing me to pose the results of all the media quick counts in my personal website, if I posted the NAMFREL quick count results. However here, concerned editors determine and reach a consensus which one deserves to stay and which one has to go. In my humble opinion, if I were a non-Filipino who would interest to look into the election results, I would be confused if all the quick counts will be posted there. I understand ABS-CBN was sanctioned by the COMELEC to the a media quick count, but I guess having one unofficial result, in this case NAMFREL would be enough. Perhaps we can just have under the See also section a link to the media quick count websites.
P.S. By the way, please use the + tab on top if you would message me with a new topic, so it will arrange chronologically all topics. Ü --Scorpion prinz (Talk | contribs) 14:34, 15 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

No blanking, please. edit

Please do not replace Wikipedia pages with blank content, as you did to Philippine House of Representatives elections, 2007. Blank pages are harmful to Wikipedia because they have a tendency to confuse readers. If it is a duplicate article, please redirect it to an appropriate existing page. If the page has been vandalised, please revert it to the last legitimate version. If you feel that the content of a page is inappropriate, please edit the page and replace it with appropriate content. If you believe there is no hope for the page, please see the deletion policy for how to proceed. --74.13.124.158 17:19, 15 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Rommel Pinera edit

The article Rommel Pinera has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article seemed to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.

Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Daniel M. Ronquillo edit

A tag has been placed on Daniel M. Ronquillo, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. -- Kylohk 10:20, 20 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Eddie Panlilio edit

Hey rizalninoy, I created the article as requested. It seems that you are not liked by fellow Pinoy wikipedians. I believe you could earn some of their goodwill by expanding the article since you're the one who requested it in the first place. I really don't like editing or making political articles but I made an exception here. This is your chance to redeem yourself, please don't waste it. --Lenticel (talk) 04:14, 23 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Batasang Bayan edit

It doesn't fit the picture, it's a legislative advisory body nothing more than that. I'm amazed by the know-how of of whomever you consulted. I've also done my consultation, they are just completely in disagreement with yours, I'm sure you'd understand why some editors are just not gonna take chances at your claims. --Scorpion prinz (Talk | contribs) 00:16, 25 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Pampanga infobox: governor edit

Legally speaking, Fr. Ed Panlilio is not yet the governor of Pampanga. Mark Lapid is still the governor of Pampanga until June 30, 2007. Until June 30, Fr. Panlilio is just governor-elect. So please, dont change the information in the Pampanga infobox as far as the Pampanga governorship is concerned. Not yet. Thank you Angeles624 20:19, 26 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
