Blogs you added at Translation

edit

Hello Richard Brooks MK. In your edit summary, you indicated the common sense and bloglingua pages are relevant to the topic of translation, and read by many people who work as translators. Do you have any sources to confirm that? The blogs seem like they might have some interest, but external links are subject to a guideline that restricts their use. If you can show that there is documented recognition of these blogs outside Wikipedia, you will have an easier case to make. Otherwise you might run afoul of the spam police. Hi I wanted to let you know that I removed those blogs from the translation page after seeking consensus on the talk page. The policy at WP:EL lists blogs as a type of external link that is to be generally avoided. Let me know if you disagree and we can discuss it. xschm (talk) 18:14, 12 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of 11GEN25

edit

The article 11GEN25 has been proposed for deletion. The proposed-deletion notice added to the article should explain why.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
