Cahir

Hi. You might considering reverting some of what you did to the Cahir article. It looks very disjointed now. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Seighean (talkcontribs) 03:14, 31 December 2008 (UTC)

Don't see why. Putting images on the left and an infobox on the right means the text is squeezed and that looks poor. In fact the images should probably go in a gallery. Rich257 (talk) 09:06, 2 January 2009 (UTC)

Co-ordinates

Sorry - didn't realise it was a problem - my source uses 5 decimal places as standard. Does rounding not affect the location? пﮟოьεԻ 57 09:22, 2 January 2009 (UTC)

My source has four decimal places and I round to three. This does affect the position but only to half the precision. So three decimal places being about 60m (at 50°N) this means it could be 30m from where your source says, which seems acceptable for the location of a village (and in some cases parish) that stretches over 500m or more. Template:Nene Valley Railway map

Thanks for improving my map of the Nene Valley Railway. Until now the dozen or so maps I have edited have all used the LUECKE icon to indicate continuation, so thanks for the arrows. I haven't yet found an english discussion of what constitutes a minor station, do you have an example? Scillystuff (talk) 23:18, 14 January 2009 (UTC)

The arrow part of the route diagrams might be new, certainly I think it looks better than the interruption LUECKE symbol.
No, I don't know what makes a minor station and what doesn't. Sometimes it's clear: if you know the station has/had a single platform and an old carriage for a shelter then I reckon it's a minor one. I would suggest using your judgement and in any case I don't think it's very critical. Rich257 (talk) 09:12, 15 January 2009 (UTC)
