editWelcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Ecocomposition has been reverted. Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): rule: '\bwordpress\.com' (link(s): http://readthisorelse.wordpress.com/about/) . If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, or similar site, then please check the information on the external site thoroughly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creator's copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! Re: Greta Gaard
editHi Rentstrike, and welcome to WP! Have a great time here :) I just saw your edit summary on Greta Gaard. Rest assured, you have nothing to worry about! Its a great article. Feel free to add some more to the encyclopedia, we can never have enough entries! Enjoy helping us, and thank you so much for contributing! Thor Malmjursson (talk) 04:58, 1 January 2009 (UTC)
- I concur, very nicely done. Thanks for taking the time to provide a wonderful article. ttonyb1 (talk) 05:00, 1 January 2009 (UTC)
Hi, I also think you did a nice job with this article. Two things: (1) the references are not working and (2) there are some strongly point-of-view words, e.g., "groundbreaking," that are inappropriate in an article like this. Otherwise, impressive first article! --RandomHumanoid(⇒) 05:02, 1 January 2009 (UTC)
- Hmmn, references are working now, so scratch that. --RandomHumanoid(⇒) 05:04, 1 January 2009 (UTC)
- Yes the references faded out, then in again, I don't know why. I said "ground-breaking" because I was trying to establish that this was new scholarship and therefore worthy of inclusion but I can see why it would sound biased. I'll go the the thesaurus and fix that.--Rentstrike (talk) 05:14, 1 January 2009 (UTC)
- You may want to update the talk page to indicate you made some changes based on discussion. BTW - I think you removed the {{reflist}} and I added it back. ttonyb1 (talk) 05:44, 1 January 2009 (UTC)
You should come hang out with us on the internetz!
editHi! I wanted to let you know that we have created an IRC channel for "countering systemic bias one new editor at a time", aka closing the gender gap! Come hang out at #wikimedia-gendergap if that subject interests you. We hope this channel can serve as a safe haven to hang out, talk about Wiki, brainstorming, increasing women's participation in Wikimedia, article alerts and foster friendships. I hope you join us! (And if you need any IRC help, just let me know!) See you there! SarahStierch (talk) 22:21, 21 August 2011 (UTC)
