Unhelpfulness = stressed editor?

While I understand that you might feel frustrated from time to time, edits like this are not helpful. If you don't like it here that much, you can always disappear. However, a good number of us would prefer that users with genuine knowledge, or at least access to information, learn the best practices of editing here and contribute effectively. If you're geniunely stressed, consider stepping away for a while so as not to get too emotionally invested in what is not worth your health or sanity. If I'm certain? No, I am not... I took the image from the Italian Army homepage and translated the description. As for the image itself: the soldiers are wearing the old pattern combat uniform, which was changed to a new one during 2003-2005. When Italian troops entered Lebanon this conversion was over by a year and so we can conclude that the image must be older. If we look at the weapons we see that the 2 rightmost soldiers carry the Beretta AR70/90 in the SC 70/90 version - the standard weapon for Alpinis and Special Force units (Parachutists carry the SCP 70/90) and the leftmost soldier carries a Steyr AUG only deployed with Italian Special Forces. To conclude: the image shows soldiers of either the 4 Alpini Regiment or the 9th Parachute Assault Regiment which both were deployed in Iraq and were/are at all times deployed to Afghanistan. But which country it is can not be concluded from the image - but I think the Italian Army should know what they write under their images. Charge (warfare)

Red Cavalry had made numerous charges after 1942, the last one I have read about was in Hungary in 1945 I think. They are not documented in Western sources so the Italian charge is commonly reported as the last one. The truth is that we will probably never know which unit and where made the last charge. There were Mongolian cavalry units operating in the Far East in August-September 1945 which also may have charged against the Chinese and Japanese troops, but I can't say with certainty at this time--mrg3105 (comms) ♠♥♦♣ 05:05, 22 August 2008 (UTC)
