External link at Marjory Stoneman Douglas edit

I'm not sure why you're adding the external link on Marjory Stoneman Douglas. The information is in the references, so it's redundant to have it as an external link and a citation. --Moni3 (talk) 14:32, 4 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

I'm sure you know I'm the editor responsible for bringing Douglas' article to GA status. Although I am by no means an expert on Douglas, I read all the material listed in the references section. Please feel free to point out what you think is inappropriate or conflicting in the article. If you can provide a source that contradicts information in the article, that would be ideal. The policy on WP:EL states that external links should not be duplicated if the information is used as a reference. I'm trying to see if the article as it stands could be a featured article, and if it goes through that process, the link will have to be removed. If there is something in the footnotes or other part of the external link you think should be cited in the article, you can do that. --Moni3 (talk) 17:36, 4 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
Mona: I have been working with and on MSD for over 30 years. I think there should be a separate link to the original part of my research. What I found was something in the footnotes that refers to the hard to find original paper publication of my MSD bibliography. Please leave what I entered alone. I also have some other concernes about what you are saying that may be very incorrect and I will ask a friend who is even more knowledgable then I am to share his concerns. Again,Please Leave what I have Entered Alone. Please leave all three of my entries alone.

Thank your,

Rosalie E. Leposky

It is not an article it is a long small book sized biblography. I am consider an MSD expert. The last time I know of when the my basic bibliography was printed it was in excess of 30 pages, and is used by MSD researchers all over the world. All three of my pages are. The MSD house and the friends are branches of my original research. MSD friends which is growing is considered by some "to be the best collection of bibliography information on old Coconut Grove as well as MSD friends.

I have ask a friend who is also a MSD expert -- several books published and more coming to read the site. He has and will contact you sometime soon with several small and some larger issues. He is closer to some of this then I am as he just finished another book on MSD.

As he pointed out in our conversation just now, my bibliography is a "living bibliography" which continues to grow as more information comes to me. It is a lot longer then the form published in the Marjory K. Rawlings Jounal of Souther Literature. In fact it looks nothing like the original journal article.

Please leave all three of my pages alone as they are now. I actually came to look at this MSD site because some one contacted me that it was missing, and wanted to know why. My response was that I put up more then a year ago, and thought they were still all there.

He was very very mad at me. Well, I had to take a look, and I was not happy to find it gone. So please leave it there. Many people have come to count on my work. One more thing graduate students and young Phd seeking tenier use my bibliography page as a source to prove their publications are being added to approved bibliography sites. I suspect all this information is more than enough to leave what I posted alone..

Thank you,

Rosalie E. Leposky

Your removal of my page after the above disappoints me. I will no longer send people here as a valid place to get information on MSD. There are too many mistakes, and problems.

You need to listen to folk who are better informed.

T'is sad you have taken so much responsiblity on yourself because you are making the wrong choices.

What I have been hearing about this service is correct -- that the information is twisted and not to be trusted. What started out as a good idea no longer is.

I did not remove the link. Another editor did. Please check the history of the page before making accusations. If you have changes or issues with the article, post them on the article's talk page. And until you can prove that the information in the article is incorrect, it is verifiable by the listed citations. I have yet to see evidence that you are better informed than I am. --Moni3 (talk) 17:22, 5 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Lazarus, Max edit

Releposky, I've deleted this article as the text was copied from http://www.ampersandcom.com/chatterbox//MaxLazarus.html - please see WP:COPYVIO, we can only use material that states that is uses the GNU Free Documentation License. Marasmusine (talk) 12:32, 23 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

If the original text is yours, I think all you need to do is declare on that web page that you release it under the GNU Free Documentation License. You might like to ask at the discussion page at Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.
However, if the material is your own original research, there is the further issue that we don't allow original research. Please take the time to read WP:OR to see if this might apply in your case. Thanks, Marasmusine (talk) 13:28, 23 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

I am still working on this page.

I posted and want to remove two of the pictures. I only want one, the current one, to be in your system. How do I delete the first two pictures I posted.

Thank you,

Rosalie
