Welcome! edit

Hello, Rekrutacja, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your edits to the page Long Range Desert Group have not conformed to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and may be removed if they have not yet been. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or other forms of media. Always remember to provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed.

Also, please do not remove tags that have been placed in the article to identify and quarantine sections of text that do not conform to this policy. This is a GA rated article and, as such, completely unreferenced sections will be either removed, or quarantined until reliable references are included.

Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles. As well, all new biographies of living people must contain at least one reliable source.

If you are stuck and looking for help, please see the guide for citing sources or come to the new contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Again, welcome!  Min✪rhist✪rianMTalk 08:17, 3 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

If you cannot be bothered reading and understanding the referencing guidelines provided I cannot help you: verifiable sources means that the information can be verified via an external and reliable source such as a book etc. What you believe is not good enough, nor are other wikipedia articles to be used for citations. Do not try and accuse me of vandalism because you have not understood the requirements. Min✪rhist✪rianMTalk 23:40, 3 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
I understand that it can be frustrating to see your edits being reverted, but please realise that this is being done to comply with Wikipedia policy, and not to spite you. Making accusations of vandalism in your editing summaries, and leaving cryptic messages on editor's talk pages helps no-one, and just makes it that much harder to want to help you in future. As you can see on the Talk:Long Range Desert Group#Films I'm not the only editor who has tried to find proper references, while trying to keep that section open - all we can do for now is compromise by direct linking the films to their Wikipedia articles.
