I've looked through the article and am quite impressed, it took me some time to identify the ship as I only had one photograph with the No T226, I traced this on a Czech site which led to Aberdeen Hall Russell. My late father in law was a Sub-Lieutenant on board during the Normandy landings, he went on to become Chief Superintendent in Thames Valley Police closely involved with Winston Churchill's funeral, after retiring from Thames Valley he became the Chief Constable of the IOM Constabulary where he served with distinction, he was serving at the time of the Summer land fire.
