Sorry but that’s just our community's consensus. Talk:WrestleMania III. Maybe try a pro wrestling wiki? -- bulletproof 3:16 17:22, 27 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

I've read his book, however I've also read the official lease papers for the Silverdome on the day of March 29 1987 saying a crowd of over 85,000 is expected. That’s a 10,000 more than Meltzer's reported number. Now, one is saying one thing and another is saying another, so its just best to keep it neutral and leave a note saying the number is disputed, which is what is already in the article. -- bulletproof 3:16 17:39, 27 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
Meh. Unnecessary really, because Dave Meltzer has disputed everything WWE has claimed about attendance figures including WrestleMania 23's number. Besides Meltzer is just that journalist and has no say over any decisions WWE makes. The article says the number is disputed which makes it perfectly clear that there are some that don’t believe the attendance number is real. -- bulletproof 3:16 18:03, 27 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
Ha, no worries. Tell you what, I'll cite it with a third party source that's neither WWE nor Meltzer.-- bulletproof 3:16 18:20, 27 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
