Speedy deletion of Really ard posse
editA tag has been placed on Really ard posse requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for musical topics.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Reply to comment on my talk page
editFirst of all, thank you for the well written comment you left on my page about your article I marked for deletion. It's refreshing to have someone who wants to be civil about this sort of thing, rather than vandal my talk page for it. To answer your questions, it's not the size of the article I have concerns with. The reason I marked the articel for deletion is due to the fact I don't feel the subject meets the standards of WP:BAND. Also, just a friendly heads-up the article could be sees as having a conflict of interest, with your user name and the name of the band in question. Wildthing61476 (talk) 17:50, 6 December 2007 (UTC)
Oh, I know you weren't vandalizing Wikipedia at all, I didn't want you to think I was accusing you of that. Wikipedia though gets a LOT of people posting articles about bands, a lot of them not meeting the guidelines as well, so it's not just this band singled out. Basically, Wikipedia may not be paper, but it's also not a list of indiscriminate information. Wildthing61476 (talk) 18:16, 6 December 2007 (UTC)
