Fear of rats

Whack!

You've been whacked with a wet trout.

Don't take this too seriously. Someone just wants to let you know that you did something silly.

How could you have reinforced such blatant vandalism that remained undetected for months? Surely some common sense, a quick glance at the revision history, or a simple Google search would have helped Kingoflettuce (talk) 22:58, 2 December 2021 (UTC)

@Kingoflettuce: You must take a look back at Special:Contributions/JorjãodoBrasil, and I did not reinforce such like that. This diff that you have mentioned is not the part of most of my reverts or edits to that stated page. FWIW, I did not left that behind; within the truth, I am not yet good on what "fear of rats" is (at the time of my actions within this or even this time). ----Rdp060707|talk 01:25, 3 December 2021 (UTC)
With all due respect, I don't understand what you're saying but the point simply was that for the longest time, the lede rightly stated that it was the "most common" phobia (duh), and when an IP address changed that, Jorj helpfully reverted it. You then reverted his change twice without bothering to see which version made the most sense, on the basis that the claim was uncited. Well, neither was the clearly dubious change made in the first place! I'm sure it was an oversight from you but maybe pay more attention the next time instead of just knee-jerk reverting. It could have been disheartening for the user who was simply trying to right an obvious wrong. And if you're "not yet good" on what the subject matter is, then you should leave it to someone else who has a clue. Happy Editing, Kingoflettuce (talk) 02:55, 3 December 2021 (UTC)
Apologies, didn't scrutinise his edits and based it off the edit summary—guess nobody else really spotted that glaringly obvious piece of vandalism then. At least that bit of misinformation has been fixed, in any case. Kingoflettuce (talk) 03:03, 3 December 2021 (UTC)
@Kingoflettuce: That will be okay 👍👌 ----Rdp060707|talk 06:55, 3 December 2021 (UTC)
