Rashmi Ranjan Behera born in 1985 Feb 21 in Cuttack,Orissa. He is eldest son of His Family.His Father was a Noted national award winner Director of prasar bharati.

Rashmi Ranjan Behera was born in Cuttack, Orissa, India to a Higher Middle class family. His father Jitendra Nath Behera, was a Bhubaneswar based Programe Executive in Prasar Bharati. His mother is working in R D Womens College. Rashmi lost his father in 2007 Aug 12. He took his father business worked as CEO in the Company. During these formative years, Rashmi struggled a lot.

Rashmi complete his Schooling from D M school Bhubaneswar ,one of the oldest and best school in Orissa.Then he Joined Biju Patnaik Film and Television Institute of Orissa to study Cinematography.
