Someone by the username Cirt wnet off and either deliberately, or acidentally deleted all the cultural references for this page. There is no reason for this (either given, or implied) so I've undon his cock-up. If he deletes it again, I'll un-delete it again, till he gives a damn reason for deleting the whole section, which gives valuable information to people who would otherwise have no clue about such in-jokes as are made in this episdode. I think he did mean to delete it. Wikipedia is not meant to be a fan site, it is a general encyclopedia. As such, it should be limited to general information only. Cultural references generally fall under WP:TRIVIA, and since wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of information, such sections do not really have a place here. There is also a policy against original research, meaning unsourced items where the user that adds it simply uses their own knowledge. However, many of our better Simpsons episode articles do include small CR sections that are limited to major references only, and are sourced. I hope that helps, if you have any questions, please feel free to ask me or the users of The Simpsons WikiProject. -- Scorpion0422 01:22, 5 February 2010 (UTC)Reply
