Ctrl+Alt+Del

edit

Hi there. Concerning your recent comments to the CtrlAltDel talk page, I feel the need to point out WP:BLP, which is the primary basis for their removal. To sum up, when you're dealing with a living person whose reputation can be damaged by libelous and unsourced rumors and such, you have to treat the Wiki entries with kid gloves, so to speak. You can't just go saying whatever all willy nilly, and some of the comments you made are extremely serious in nature and you have provided zero evidence to support them. And (as I thought you understood) forums and blogs on the internet are not evidence or proper sources. Please take care with your additions in the future.

To address your other point (the creation of a new section), there are two points. A) Someone's previous edits to the article are of no import to the article as it stands today. And B) All of those things are removed because there is zero proof to back up any of it, not because of "pro-Buckley" or "anti-Buckley" anything.

I'd also like to note that you seem to have moved on from looking for criticism concerning the comic strip and onto bringing up rumors and criticisms of Buckley. The article is about CtrlAltDel, and only about Buckley when it is directly related to his capacity as the author of the webcomic.--Thrindel (talk) 06:00, 4 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
