Please review WP:COI. You should not be editing Orfeo (novel) at all, or at least anything regarding your role in it. You may make suggestions on the talk page. Choor monster (talk) 18:43, 18 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

A message for Choor monster, I have add an external link on the page of the novel orfeo but you have erase my modifications I don't understand why. I am french and it is difficult for me to speak english sorry and i am not accustomed with wikipedia but i think it is interesting for people who discover the bookcover to know from where come the picture in the background.
You can get an explanation on the French Wikipedia. Go to fr:WP:NOT or fr:WP:COI. (You could have clicked on the link I gave above. On the left is a list of languages you can click on.)
Do not edit other people's user pages. That is extremely rude. I removed your edit and have put it here.
The short answer: Wikipedia does not care what you think is interesting. Or my thoughts either, for that matter. It's about what is of broad interest, relevance, and verifiability. A link to your site is simply self-promotion, and this is not allowed.
If you like, you can make the original picture available under a free license, and upload it to the Commons with a link back to the original, which presumably is on your website, and then ask on Talk:Orfeo (novel) if they think linking to the Commons picture is appropriate.
