A chronic problem edit

I was sorry to read your note that implied that some unsourced WP:BLP stuff here on Wikipedia may have causes some real world consequences. I've removed that unsourced material. You should be aware that the editor that added that material has been adding quite a bit of unsourced WP:BLP info to articles. A final warning was issued in August to that editor about that behavior. Peter J Rubin moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, Peter J Rubin, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. I don't understand the objections edit

Rubin has had an illustrious legal career. He was Al Gore's litigator in Bush v Gore, he went on to found the American Constitution Society, and is now an appeals court judge in Massachusetts. He has also been a Georgetown University professor. That's all notable.

The sources cited are Georgetown university's faculty website and the appeals courts website. These are both independent and reliable.

That's enough for a stub. What's the issue here? Raven Onthill (talk) 15:50, 10 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
