MDPI

Personally, I'd lose the MDPI source. Sure, the can be an okay publisher but often aren't. Alexbrn (talk) 07:08, 26 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

The paper appears to have been cited by others ([1]), and Viruses is MEDLINE-indexed. Of course, that's not a rubber-stamp, but I think I'll first take a more thorough look through all of them before starting to reject sources yet. Of course, the intent is to pick only the best sources (so, reputable journals with credible authors). While I might have close to 200 at this point, many are in rather generic journals (I've included them for methodological completeness as I was searching yesterday). Of course, that's the reason for the template at the top: this is still a work in progress. Feel free to help (converting the bare URLs to full citations is already a beginning, checking whether the journals are MEDLINE and whether the paper has been cited by others [with some leeway for recent papers which haven't had much time to be cited by others] also a good start).
