Also, to answer your above question, the best way to get a response from someone is to post on their Talk page, as they may not be Watching your Talk page. If you know the title of the article that was created five years ago, it may be restorable. If so, any administrator can restore it for you, which I can do. However, deleted pages of that age may be permanently lost.
