Bugger edit

That was a waste of an hour! :) I put a template up but I guess you had already started. Where are you going next? Florrieleave a note 12:39, 8 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

I'll stick to the middle and do 2000. Florrieleave a note 12:43, 8 February 2008 (UTC)Reply
Don't be silly! Do as many as you want, less work for Alex! I'll do 2000 tonight and then confer tomorrow. Cheers, Florrieleave a note 12:56, 8 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

I'll bags 2001 and 2002 for today unless anyone has started on them? I'll go and add an under construction tag. Cheers, Florrieleave a note 01:04, 9 February 2008 (UTC) (cross-post)Reply

Artists with multiple entries edit

I do like tables, but I wonder if this might be over-kill? The sortable table makes it possible to view bands with multiple entries so to me the list already present is sufficient. But that is only my opinion. Why not bring it up on the 2007 talk page? There seems to be a few editors there willing to give an opinion. It does look nice, though! :) Florrieleave a note 08:06, 9 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Okay, sure. RaNdOm26 (talk) 08:12, 9 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Wasabi-EyeOfTheTiger.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Wasabi-EyeOfTheTiger.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 03:22, 12 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Fergie-BigGirlsDontCry.jpg) edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Fergie-BigGirlsDontCry.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 18:06, 20 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

AUS tagging for songs edit

Was wondering - why did you remove the tag for many song articles? Songs like Steer (song), These Kids and In This Life (song) should be under the Australian Wikiproject, because they are by Australian artists, so why did you remove them? RaNdOm26 (talk) 07:18, 5 April 2008 (UTC)

It was a mistake, so revert me if you find any others. The background to this is Satyrbot tagged every article that was in Category:Number-one singles in Australia with the AUS project tag, but the vast majority were in no way Australian from the point of view of project responsibility. The list that Satyrbot worked from was at User:Moondyne/AU categories which was fine for the category tagging but needed to be culled somewhat for article tagging. I've started manually removing the tags with assistance from AWB, and trying to leave the Australian songs tagged. I reckon there's still heaps more to untag BTW. Here we go. Avoid using kts. It'd be great if all of the Gary Padgett refs could be replaced with a more official one, but if not it's fine. Chris section needs major expansion (potentially worthy of its own article). ♬♩ Hurricanehink (talk) 05:28, 30 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/United World Chart says it all really, there is no sign of reliability or notability of the chart. Its rating scheme was also found to be rather arbitrary; any reason you want to keep it in the discography? indopug (talk) 15:02, 12 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
