Pixie Bobs in Europe
editThe comments about Nathalie Bent and the history of the breed in Europe are misleading and inaccurate. Nathalie Bent purchased one breeder from the breed founder, but this cat was not a Pixie Bob that was produced by the breed founder. The other cat of the "breeding pair" imported by Nathalie Bent was not purchased from the breed founder. This cat was purchased from a breeder in Florida. If you look at the prefix on the name of this breeding pair, neither cat's names begin with Stone Island, the breed founder's cattery. This proves that the breed founder was not the breeder of this pair of cats.
Secondly, it was not Gertrud Mayer who next purchased/imported a breeding pair into Europe. The next breeding pair(s) imported into Europe were imported by Michael Harper of the UK.
Thirdly, no proof is provided or referenced that Donna Cox is the leading show breeder of Pixie bobs outside of the USA.
