WP:BADCHARTS

Please do not add the Bulgarian Single Chart, the Portuguese Singles Chart, or any other chart listed at WP:BADCHARTS to any Wikipedia articles. Thank you.—Kww(talk) 19:49, 8 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Record Report

edit

The Venezuelan Record Report is a fine source. As long as it is properly archived, there is no issue with verification. This was actually discussed at WT:Record charts and it was given the okay. Erick (talk) 07:43, 15 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Sony as source for Sony's sales

edit

You didn't explain your reversion of Petergriffin9901's edits to Jennifer Lopez discography, so I don't know what you're thinking. Perhaps it would help you, however, if you knew that Sony (like other labels, only a bit more so) is considered an unreliable source for sales figures of its releases. That's why I removed the Sony Austria figures from that article a couple of days ago. Please leave them out (I've reverted your reversion...), but feel free to dig up any reliable source you can for sales figures of Lopez's work. And while I'm here, it'd also be great if you would start using edit summaries. It helps the rest of us understand what you're up to. Thanks, — JohnFromPinckney (talk) 17:22, 17 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Before saving your changes to an article, please provide an edit summary, which you forgot to do before saving your recent edit to Jennifer Lopez discography. Doing so helps everyone understand the intention of your edit (and prevents legitimate edits from being mistaken for vandalism). It is also helpful to users reading the edit history of the page. Thank you. You made a series of 9 edits and couldn't add even a single edit summary? You've made some 133 edits in total on Wikipedia, and haven't seen fit to tell anyone what you're up to yet. You've been here long enough to know how to change an article; it's high time you began communicating with the rest of us. So, please do, and happy editing. — JohnFromPinckney (talk) 23:40, 24 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

JLO discography

You really shouldn't change things (without an explanation) of things you are not aware of. See this discussion. It has just been brought into effect. Status {talkcontribs 21:21, 26 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Thank you. I don't know why you made the changes to the certifications listings that you did (and keep making), but I have reverted them to the style described by the recently updated WP:DISCOGSTYLE guideline proposal. Considerable discussion and thought went into making the recommendation to use provider, not country names, and it would be great if you would stop changing from the newer style. In any case, you should explain what you are doing and why when you revert somebody's edit. — JohnFromPinckney (talk) 15:44, 2 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

There's a new order, too. Thanks for your continued efforts. Unfortunately, I think you missed the part at WP:DISCOGSTYLE about sorting the certs by provider, with the artist's home country first. Sorry for the reversion. — JohnFromPinckney (talk) 16:38, 2 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Jennifer Lopez discography. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Quanto, when you consistently and repeatedly make the same changes when the reasons against them have been explained to you, and when you refuse to communicate here (or any Talk page) or even use a single edit summary, I can only assume you are deliberately trying to disrupt the project. Probably you don't really want that, though, so I hope you'll start communicating more and repeat the same edits less. — JohnFromPinckney (talk) 22:52, 2 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Mexican Airplay Chart

edit

Please stop removing the Mexican Airplay Chart as you did in Dance Again. The chart was approved at WT:CHARTS so if you objections, explain in the talk page. Erick (talk) 17:50, 18 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Jennifer Lopez peaks

edit

Thank you for constantly updating the peak positions for "Dance Again". But please, when doing so, state in the edit summary what you are indeed doing, so it doesn't look like an inflation. Something along the lines of "New peak of [Song Title] in [Country]." Cheers, — Statυs (talk) 04:26, 20 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Status. I wanted to let you know that I undid one or more of your recent contributions to Jennifer Lopez discography because it didn't appear constructive.
