The article Amit Puntambekar has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article, which appeared to be about a real person, individual animal, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the notability of the subject may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.

Re: Amit Puntambekar Page

edit

Does Amit Puntambekar meet Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion of foolballers, as detailed at WP:NFOOTBALL? If you believe the answer to this question is 'yes', and you have reliable sources to show that this is the case, I can restore the article. However, first I suggest that you review Wikipedia's policies on original research, verifiability, and biographies of living persons. Thanks —Jeremy (talk) 18:48, 4 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

He is not mentioned at the Viva Kerala FC page, nor is he mentioned at http://vivakerala.net/ [1]. As far as I can see Amit has not received significant coverage in independent reliable sources and is therefore not a suitable subject for a Wikipedia article at this time. —Jeremy (talk) 19:06, 5 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
