Allen Doyle

edit

I noticed that you undid a perfectly valid edit of mine on the above-referenced page. Mr. Doyle is 66 years old. You said in your edit summary that he didn't move to Georgia until after he left the military in his 30s. Let's just say it was at age 35 for the purposes of discussion. 66 years minus 35 years equals 31 years. A person becomes an adult at age 18, so he didn't live in Georgia for 17 of his adult years and he did live in Georgia for 31 of his adult years. Even if he moved there at 39, he would still have spent MOST (27 years) of his adult life in Georgia.

I looked over the edit history and decided not to undo it, because it looks like Mr. Doyle is someone you know very well (and I also considered the possibility that you may even be Mr. Doyle) because you made several edits including about his wife and other personal details. That edit was actually an amplification of one of your edits. It helps explain why someone originally from Rhode Island received a couple of lifetime awards from golf associations in Georgia.--Hokeman (talk) 17:09, 25 April 2015 (UTC)Reply
