Bancroft Literary Association and Carrollton-Wight Literary Society

I understand you concern about the claim of this being the oldest literary society at a public school, and reveals the need to clarify the claim.

Baltimore City College is a high not a college, despite the implication of its name. School was being used to refer to a non-collegiate institution. I will restore the claim to the page, but make a note that it is not referring to colleges. Golem88991 22:53, 12 November 2007 (UTC)
