Universal Declaration of Human Rights in Oriya

Hi, I'm working on a language project in German Wikipedia. Therefore I would need the Article 1 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in Oriya. All I found was this PDF but it is an image and pretty bad in quality. I'd like a text (Unicode) version. Could you transcribe the article 1 or get it anywhere else? -- MichaelSchoenitzer (talk) 13:10, 28 July 2014 (UTC)

Hi MichaelSchoenitzer, it is a 7 page document and I think it is a brilliant idea to have this typed in Unicode. But, I am only curious about the place it is going to be hosted. Is this under the scope of Wikisource? If so, I will create it on Wikisource. But, I could start working after office today. :) --Psubhashish (talk) 10:23, 29 July 2014 (UTC)
Hi, I'm glad you're helping! To my project: The aim of my project is, to add the Article 1 of the UDHR to all (german) Wikipediaarticles about a language as 1. text 2. audio-file 3. optionally a transcription and 4. the German translation. The idea is, that the reader should be able to listen to hear how the language sounds and see how the language looks like, since this is what probably interests most readers more than some theory about the grammar of the language. For an example look at the section "Sprachbeispiel" in the article about the Japanese language.
So for this, I only need the Article 1 in Oriya written. I already got this audio recording:
But beside this it would of course also be a nice idea to create the complete text version of the UDHR in Oriya for Wikisource, since it's a pity to only have such a bad quality version of this important document in Oriya! But that would be quit some work for you… -- MichaelSchoenitzer (talk) 12:06, 29 July 2014 (UTC)
You have it here. I will finish the entire declaration in my free time. It is going to be an one time effort and useful. :) Thanks a lot again for reaching out to me. This is a wonderful project you are doing. --Psubhashish (talk) 18:43, 29 July 2014 (UTC)
