After reviewing more information on Wikipedia, I understand the position on self promotion both from the user name and article. Would like to move completely away from a company technology page and instead would like to instead propose articles about technology such as contextual data (adding to existing article), pattern profiling, transparency (advertising). These topics need to be defined and by others editing a true definition will emerge.

Wikipedia is so keen to encourage everyone to edit that it is not as good as it should be in explaining in advance what it is not for. There are many websites where people can post announcements about themselves, their rock bands, their companies. Wikipedia is different. It is a collaborative project to build an encyclopedia.

• "Users" are the individuals who are here to help build the encyclopedia
• Wikipedia accounts must be for individuals only, who are personally responsible for them; usernames which appear to be those of groups or organizations are not allowed, and shared accounts are not allowed
• User pages are for users, if they choose, to say a little about themselves to help communication about the project; they are not for any extended material unrelated to Wikipedia
• Wikipedia is not for promotion of any kind, and is extremely resistant to attempts to use it in that way. Nothing promotional is allowed, even in user pages, and there are strong rules against editing with a conflict of interest. One reason is that people close to their subject find it hard to write about it from the required neutral point of view: witness the fact that although you say you were trying to focus on the technology, you wrote phrases like: "most complete, fresh, and transparent real-time assessment", "richest and most precise data in the market", "Everything they do empowers the media trading industry" "unique, world-class solutions". These are puffery, PR-speak, what we call "peacock terms". An encyclopedia article is something quite different from that.
• As an encyclopedia, Wikipedia is selective about subjects: we do not expect to have an article about every company (though Wikicompany does). Articles have to be of enough general interest for an encyclopedia article: the Wikipedia term for that is Notability, which is not a matter of opinion but needs to be demonstrated by showing "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject." The test is, have other people, independent of the subject, thought it significant enough to write about? More detail in Notability (organizations and companies).
• You complained of a double standard, and mentioned Microsoft and IBM: there is no doubt that they pass the notability test, and their articles have the references to prove it; moreover, they do not contain peacock terms, and no-one reading them would suppose that they were written by Bill Gates or Thomas Watson, or by their PR departments.
• The WP:FAQ/Organizations will tell you more, and so will WP:Your first article.

In summary: your username is unacceptable, being a company name. You may apply for an unblock to request a change of username to an account for you as an individual, but if your only purpose here is to write about your company, you should be aware that under the code of WP:Best practices for editors with conflicts of interest you should at most propose articles or changes and let uninvolved users decide. You will have to establish notability, nothing promotional will be accepted, and you will not control any resulting article.

Thank you for responding to my request. Yes, I understand that Wikipedia is not a business directory, have read through the COI, and agree with the "notable" articles. I also understand that the username chosen originally is related to a company, etc. and should not be used. Would like to then request a new user name. Thanks again.

Some questions for you to answer before an unblock for renaming can be considered...

Here are a few key questions:

• Do you understand that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and not a business directory?
• Do you understand conflict of interest?
• Do you understand that to be considered for an encylopedia article, the subject must be considered to be notable?

You are currently blocked because your username appears directly related to a company, group or product that you have been promoting, contrary to the username policy.
