Your uploads edit

Good day. I see that you have uploaded a number of images to Wikipedia. First off, thank you for your contributions. Unfortunately, there are some guidelines that we need to follow with copyrighted images. Specifically, you need to add a source for the image (a link to a website will do), a copyright tag (there are some listed at WP:ICT), and a rationale explaining why we can use a copyrighted image (explained at WP:NFURG). I see that your images fail to include one of these. Please stop uploading images and address the concerns listed above. If you need assistance, you can ask at the help desk. If you do not fix these images, and you continue to make bad uploads, you will be blocked and your images will be deleted. Thanks for your contributions! October 2010 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article BattleTech Centers, please cite a reliable source for the content of your edit. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Take a look at Wikipedia:Citing sources for information about how to cite sources and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you.
Please keep in mind that Wikipedia works on the basis of Verifiability of information. Meaning all information should be referenced to areliable source that can be verifiable.

To be perfectly honest, here is the best course of action for you. If you truly run VirtualWorld.com and want the Wikipedia page to reflect information about the current sites running the Telsa II pods, create or modify a page at your site with all of the information you want on the Wikipedia page. For example, have your "sites" page include the information about which version of BattleTech or Red Planet is running at those sites. Then we can use that webpage as a verifiable and reliable source for updating the Wikipedia page.
I apologize for being an ass about Wikipedia policies, I just want to ensure that information on the articles here are accurate and verifiable; meaning that Joe Blow can find the same information as anyone else and not have to depend on the guy running the organization. I was sitting in the 4.x pods back in 1997 at VWE in Dallas. I have the Battletech Centers page on my watchlist more for vandalism watch, but also to try and ensure the information is accurate. I can't ensure the information is accurate without having a website, book, or other solid resource to point to that anyone else has access to.
I hope this explanation makes sense and helps to explain why I have been reverting your edits. --TreyGeek (talk) 02:35, 16 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
