Proposed deletion of Next Generation Swing, Vol.2

edit

The article Next Generation Swing, Vol.2 has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable compilation album. No sources. Fails WP:ALBUM.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Please make sure that your articles on albums and songs comply with the notability guideline on music albums (Connor linked to the wrong page in his comment above). Try to provide sources for position in national music charts, awards, etc. Also, find sources that speak about how the album is notable for accomplishing a certain thing (stuff like being the first album of a certain type, or selling X copies in a time where little albums were sold, etc.). --Enric Naval (talk) 02:59, 23 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
