Regarding your comments on User talk:Allemandtando: Please see Wikipedia's no personal attacks policy. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Note that continued personal attacks will lead to blocks for disruption. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. --EEMIV (talk) 07:45, 30 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

How about you find something useful to do instead of adding templates about things they already know they were doing to people's talk pages. Note I didn't attack you, just the practice of giving people redundant information.--Project Kurtz (talk) 07:55, 30 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

So now you are here and going to show me where I've gone wrong - which article do you want to take as an example and bring upto community standard? pick one and then you can edit it and demonstrate where we have gone wrong. --Allemandtando (talk) 09:41, 30 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

I don't have the knowledge on the subject to properly edit the articles, I'm simply talking and defending on the behalf of people who have that knowledge and are willing to bring it up to community standard. What you did, however, was not bringing it up to community standard. It was bringing it down to YOUR standard.--Project Kurtz (talk) 20:22, 30 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
Funny how concerned you are - your comments on the 4chan thread seems to suggest you just wanted a good ruck with us "fags". --Allemandtando (talk) 20:46, 30 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
Or was I a paedophile - I forget for the moment. --Allemandtando (talk) 20:46, 30 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
You will either properly help transwikify the articles or take your business somewhere else. Your deletions merely avoid the guidelines, instead of taking the proper path to fix them up to meet them. An article with a nonprofessional writing style is still better than no article.
The facts that I enjoy arguing and frequent 4chan have nothing to do with this. Thanks for actually trying to stay on-topic instead of devolving into senseless ad hominem. Really. Thanks.--Project Kurtz (talk) 20:50, 30 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. Jaysweet (talk) 20:58, 30 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Any signatures I don't place myself are because I accidentally forget to, I already know how to sign and I don't need some written-for-dumbasses template to tell me how. Thanks anyways.--Project Kurtz (talk) 20:59, 30 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
Removed the "do not attack others" template because it was an improper use of it. I have not attacked you, I have attacked your actions which does not fall under that article. Hooray for reading comprehension and not bending the rules to suit your own purposes.--Project Kurtz (talk) 21:01, 30 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
any major objection to me moving the discussion off my userpage to the warhammer project page? --Allemandtando (talk) 21:04, 30 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
none here, just link it so I don't get lost. I'd honestly get a little frustrated if such a long-winded argument was on my talk page, too.--Project Kurtz (talk) 21:06, 30 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
It's not frustration - rather I keep getting the "new message" box and none of them are actually for me! and it's a discussion best suited for a project page (especially in terms of archiving). --Allemandtando (talk) 21:08, 30 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
I moved the section that wasn't directly aimed at me, and didn't bother with the "hey you tool" section from above - if you want it or want to copy it - it's in the page history. --Allemandtando (talk) 21:15, 30 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

WP:CANVASsing allegations

edit

"There's no way to prove or disprove that you have done so in the past." Wrong. See here. Like I said, check my contribs and show me where I have done so.

Oh wait, I forgot, I'm talking to a single purpose account that only signed on to Wikipedia because of canvassing on the 4chan message board. --Jaysweet (talk) 21:09, 30 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Now now, watch your personal attacks. I have edited Wikipedia in the past, I only created this account because people were whining about it being an army of IP-only contributors arguing. As you just demonstrated, Wikipedia isn't the only place you can look for help, and forums, IM programs, etc. don't always keep perfect records of what has happened. Just because there's no record of it on Wikipedia, doesn't mean it never happened. That's not an implication or a personal attack, just a statement of fact.--Project Kurtz (talk) 21:12, 30 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
Also, if you were to have seen the thread where I found out about this, you would find that, other than being a little biased, it was not "OMFG THIS FAGGOT BROKE EVERYTHING LET'S LYNCH HIS ASS" it was "Look at what he did. What are we going to do?"--Project Kurtz (talk) 21:14, 30 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

some quotes

edit

It was pretty much dead before Jaysweet got there, then the hilarious CANVASing, single-purpose account, and personal attack argument started. That in and of itself was worth it.

You have to understand that, for people like me, this is fun. I like arguing. I enjoy doing shit like this for hours on end, into the night and through to the morning. Trust me, I've argued longer for less worthy causes.

Maybe I'll watch his contributions and argue against him every time he tries to change something. That's one of the best ways to piss off obsessive wiki editors.[1]

just so nobody gets confused about your purpose here. --Allemandtando (talk) 22:34, 30 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

First, that last comment wasn't serious. I never intended to follow you around and argue with you, it was completely in jest. Second, I do enjoy arguing, and I do think the short little fiasco between me and Jaysweet was funny. Don't try to take some moral high ground because of that. Also, fixed your grammar error.--Project Kurtz (talk) 22:41, 30 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
And again, I love when people prove they have nothing useful to say by senselessly attacking me. Really. I love it.--Project Kurtz (talk) 22:42, 30 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

A few quotes of my own

edit

Because turnabout is fair play, lets see what Allemandtando has to say:

"hey fuckheads, we'll start deleting and then locking the pages in the morning. See how you like that."

So that nobody has any doubts about your intentions. Now I will be watching you.--Project Kurtz (talk) 23:06, 30 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
