July 2009

edit

I have reverted your edit of 06:04, 5 July 2009 to Coup d'état. In your edit:

  • You removed a tag asking for more footnotes. This need for more footnotes still exists.
  • You placed an unexplained and not obviously relevant diagram.

No problem. that's because there were too many tags asking for more footnotes, thank you. --Prodigynet (talk) 09:56, 6 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Latin America HDI

edit

Hello there. I realy whould like to see a HDI list with all Latin American countries' province. But we have a methodological problem to compare data from diferent countries. The HDI is a index that contains 3 variables, education, life expectancy and income. In the case of the income we have differences between the composition of the HDI of countries For exemple, the UN list uses the GDP(PPP) per capita, the Argentina list uses the avarege income in Argentinian Pesos, the Chile uses the average income in Chilean Pesos. Costa Rica uses the electricity consumption etc etc. We can only make a ranking with a standard methodological. The UN uses the GDP per capita ajusted by the power purchasing parity. This is the only way to compare the income of different countries without problem in exchange rate, inflation etc. Best Regards.--Italodal (talk) 07:38, 6 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
