I removed the adjective "wanton" from the initial definition, since "wanton", by its definition, implies intent and cruelty, or at least some sort of deliberation. Recklessness implies a lack of deliberation.

Hello. Regarding you changes to Earle Hagen. Per: WP:MOS, you don't want to over burden the opening sentence/paragraph/section. You want to make it a very brief highlight, then go into depth in the body of the article. I recommend that you move your addition down in chronological order into the main body, and revert the opening paragraph back to smaller-concise version.
And, lets have some Wikipedia:Verifiability and Wikipedia:Citing sources also.
