October 2022 edit

Hi Prathmesh Bhale! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of Siege of Janjira (1682) several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.

All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree at Talk:Siege of Janjira (1682), please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. 331dot (talk) 18:27, 12 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Sambhaji, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use your sandbox for that. Thank you. bonadea contributions talk 19:44, 20 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

Seige of janjira edit

Sir I have resourched alot from various sources as well as Wikipedia page events and 'Sambhaji pays tributes to mughals' is not mentioned in any historical record.i kindly request you to revert my edits back on this page.thank you Prathmesh Bhale (talk) 18:35, 12 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

You should discuss your edits on the article talk page. The whole article is very poorly sourced, and has been marked as problematic for two years. If you have performed research on this and have reliable sources to support your edits, please offer them. Thank you 331dot (talk) 18:40, 12 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

Sir I have discussed this in numerous times on talk page but you didn't took action on that and you keeping the changes as it is.actually the edit you have revised was edited by a new user so why you consider his edits is facts as it doesn't even mentioned in own Wikipedia page? Prathmesh Bhale (talk) 18:56, 12 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

You can just click "edit" instead of "new section" to edit this page, that way you can avoid creating unnecessary section headers. This is easier to do in full desktop mode(even in a browser on a device) as the mobile version does not have full functionality.
There is no talk page discussion on Talk:Siege of Janjira (1682), the article talk page. If you discussed it somewhere, it wasn't there. 331dot (talk) 19:02, 12 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

Seige of janjira edit

I didnt fully get what you said sir I don't have experience to accurate edit and also don't have computer device as I am editing this on mobile. It's better that you revise my edits on wikipedia page as you know all about it which we don't know well.thank you sir Prathmesh Bhale (talk) 19:10, 12 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

If you are using a browser on your mobile to do this, scroll to the bottom and click "desktop" to change to the full version of Wikipedia, in which it is easier to avoid creating section headers. That's what I'm doing right now. If you are using the app, I would suggest using a browser instead. The app is built more for reading than editing. Just a tip. 331dot (talk) 21:45, 12 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

Misuse of powers edit

Can you tell me how can i be able to complain at Wikipedia about you? I want to complaint against you to Wikipedia that you are hiding our appeal by misuse of power.I am noticing that after providing you all reasons to edit and sources including own Wikipedia page, why you are considering only one users opinion?why didn't you stated as i mentioned and continuously blocking peoples from Wikipedia edit and locking page by the name of protect.do other people's without powers like you all are wrong and you only is correct? Prathmesh Bhale (talk) 20:57, 12 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

You used another account to appear to be a different person. It wasn't even done particularly well, as the other account used the exact same language as this one. You are also edit warring, this is not permitted even if you are correct- and you may be, but you must discuss this on the article talk page. If you wish to complain about me, you may do so at WP:ANI, but all you need to do is discuss on the article talk page. 331dot (talk) 21:19, 12 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

Please bring this up at Talk:Siege of Janjira (1682). If you agree to do that, and wait a couple days before implementing your sourced changes, I will remove the protection now and rely on your word that you will wait for additional comment. Indian history is not an area I have much knowledge of, so you may be correct. But this must be done right. 331dot (talk) 21:49, 12 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

Seige of janjira edit

First of all thanks a lot sir that you finally get the right. Just one thing to ask, when and how I should edit it on Wikipedia page? I mean i didn't get your point in last edit what you said about bringing back.I will also add more sources in reference section. &for that another account, this is due to because rainy season light in our town was gone for many time, after Mobile switch off I used my Friend's mobile to edit that.I don't used it for another reason sir.thank you Prathmesh Bhale (talk) 00:23, 13 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

If you need to use another device, you should log in with this account, not use your friends account. You may log in on any device you are using.
First edit the article talk page to describe the changes you want and offer your sources. If after a couple days no one objects, you may then edit the article itself. If someone objects, please discuss it with them to arrive at a consensus. I'm going to rely on you choosing to that yourself and remove the protection. Please do so. 331dot (talk) 01:22, 13 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

Talk page of seige of janjira edit

Sir I have added several points and also historical sources regarding seige at talk page but I don't able to see my edit on talk page that's why I added another time but I don't able to see it just says your edit added at talk page. Prathmesh Bhale (talk) 11:13, 13 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

If you have attempted to edit the article talk page, Talk:Siege of Janjira (1682), you are not being successful. There should be a "publish changes" button there just like there is for this page, nothing is saved until you click it.
I think part of the problem stems from the fact you are using the mobile version, which does not have full functionality. It's built more for reading than for editing, though it is possible to edit with it. If you are using the Wikipedia app, I would suggest that you not use it to edit at this time, and edit Wikipedia in a browser on your mobile device. If that's what you are doing already, scroll to the bottom and you should see the word "desktop", if you click/tap it, it will change you to the full version of Wikipedia, where you may find it easier to access and edit the article talk page. 331dot (talk) 11:23, 13 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

General information edit

Hello sir, I want to ask one general question-- why in some articles like seige of janjira there is template shown at upper side?it is due to grammatical error or information error? Prathmesh Bhale (talk) 04:17, 16 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

November 2022 edit

Hello, I'm Arjayay. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Battle of Pavan Khind, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 15:50, 10 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add or change content, as you did at Maratha Empire, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 15:52, 10 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

Yes I have studied about Maratha Empire&Sambhaji a lot.For sources as its already mentioned in sources of reference section

No, you deleted a valid reference and made uncited claims - these claims must be specifically cited. - Arjayay (talk) 15:58, 10 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

I bet you have not resourched before editing page.As Sambhaji's page itself contains very hypothetical editing which not parallel to real historical sources.now let's come my edit,so you objects that I have deleted references which in your sense is 'valid'.So about that execution statement only John Richard support that statement which put on this page but there are Indian sources says different opinions&also foreign letters says same things as in Indian sources so in that mean we also should put these opinions&sources on page right?so we have to put only neutral point of view that's what I done.i delete that statement itself and simply avoided that topic because this page is not about that. &for that military battle statement, you should resourch because I was already provided sources about it very earlier
