Strozzapreti? edit

Hallo Popo

I've changed your photo illustrating the strozzapreti article. Traditional strozzapreti can be two things: either a dumpling, or a type of pasta (usually fresh, and the one in your photos is dry) similar to an elongated cavatiello, or a spaghetto (as in central Italy). Those on your pictures are too short and too wide to be considered strozzapreti. Off the top of my head, I'd say your strozzapreti are slightly larger caserecce (or casarecce). Cheers, Alex2006 (talk) 16:26, 1 February 2022 (UTC) P.S. I just looked at your user page...Mamma mia! You are the Einstein of pasta, complimenti! :-) Alex2006 (talk) 17:01, 1 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

GlobalPlatform edit

I noticed that you accepted Draft:GlobalPlatform, but it has since been moved back to the draftspace and currently trying to get to the bottom of exactly why. I would appreciate if you could take a second look at the draft and provide any feedback.SaffronSettee (talk) 15:42, 24 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

Moving of drafts to mainspace edit

Hi,

An AfC reviewer here. On what basis are you working when moving drafts out into the mainspace? – robertsky (talk) 19:49, 2 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hi, obviously because I can (it's not an admin task) and because you guys have a backlog that is only growing every day (I only poke at AfC requests that are 3+ months behind, and there's still a bunch of low-hanging fruits): if you don't need help let me know. Nah. I am fine with your moves. So far most of the moves are ok. Sorry, I meant to ask on what basis are you working with when moving the drafts. Skipped a word there. :X Just wondering how attuned are you to the notability noms on the en side, given that you have been editing mostly on fr (unless you had edited on ip addresses on en... that I would not be able to tell). – robertsky (talk) 09:01, 3 March 2022 (UTC)Reply
And am also curious how aligned are the notability guidelines of fr as to en wiki. – robertsky (talk) 09:04, 3 March 2022 (UTC)Reply
Hola, sorry for the super late reply. I'd say notability guidelines are pretty much identical - maybe a little less exposure to/tolerance for BLP of people not related to the francophone world, but overall no significant difference I can think of. WIKIPEDIA NEEDs YOUR FAIR JUDGEMENT AND HELP edit

Hi,

On the article West Ta East you approved, there was the main credible source from ABC news Australia which is the national outlet whom personally interviewed each maker and contestant,

Here is below the stated key facts you see on the article, @Bonadea has purposely removed the main source and is writing her very own version of the show which is not correct as the latest article released on this subject is only ABC, you can view my edit of the article is which correctly corresponds to the ABC article which is the latest news break, and also view@Bonadea’s edit.

I feel somewhat she is being biased and sharing her own views not a neutral or the information found in the source as per as Wikipedia policies. Many editors are feeling attacked by her / him please bring in a fair space which only shares the truth. I believe you can see the issue in this and I have gone ahead removed anything that deemed promotional but a premise of a show can only be of what an official source says it is in the words of the makers not a Wikipedia editor. Read below the ABC article please and the date.

An Afghan-Australian reality TV star says the Taliban have threatened him and his family in Australia to stop production of their reality TV show.

Key points:

West Ta East looks at life from the viewpoint of two Afghan Australians Recently the Taliban has threatened the makers of the show The fundamentalist regime has cracked down on the media since their return to power Ramiz King, 24, describes himself as Afghanistan's first reality TV star.

He made a name for himself on YouTube, then MTV in India, and is one of the stars of Afghan Big Brother, or BaChashem, Afghanistan's first television reality show.

Melbourne-based Mr King and his sister, Rohina, who goes by one name, are the glamorous stars of West Ta East, a reality TV show about Afghans living in Australia and returning to Afghanistan to work.

"It's a show [that] focuses on the daily life of me and my sibling, Rohina, as we tackle through life, relationships and also understanding our roots with Afghanistan," he said.

"We go on an adventure to understand what is it like to relate to the masses of Afghanistan, in terms of working hard and living in a war-torn country." Positiveilluminati (talk) 13:55, 17 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hey there Positiveilluminati, I did not "approve" the entry but merely moved a TV series-related stub to mainspace where it could live its happy life. I am sorry to say that beyond this I have no interest in participating in editorial disputes. My only advice here is do not try to get the ideal version, but aim for something that everyone can live with. Good luck! Popo le Chien throw a bone 14:32, 17 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
Thank you, I just felt a bit cornered because the initial source which is the most credible was removed by @bonadea and the premise had not been what it is on YouTube, I take each case like this serious so I paid to watch it online. Just keep an eye on the page edit incase you see a opportunity where you can stand up to unfair usage of power. Positiveilluminati (talk) 00:11, 18 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
