Possible advantages that Namibia can get from recycling

Have you ever wondered what you can do about the bottles, papers, broken glasses and cans you find around your homes, school or even your bedroom? Recycling is processing garbage into new products . Due to the increase in industrialization and improper usage of planning of natural resources and raw materials, many countries lose their natural landscapes.Recycling of the waste products helps the country in the utilization of raw materials, generating job opportunities , uses few energy in the manufacturing process and valuable thing can be produced from the recycled materials.

Reserving for the next generation

To begin with, the raw materials will be used wisely and efficiently.This means that the next generations will find the natural resources.This will not only give a good reputation to our youngsters and copy this good example, but most importantly, it will help them in their studies especially in the land management field and agriculture.Thus , making our younger ones to excel.As the natural landscape is kept for longer, it beautifies the environment and attract tourists to our country.As a result , we will earn a lot of foreign currency from them.Also, it reduces littering and promotes the health standard of our country.There will be many waste removal companies picking up litters surrounding the towns and cities to sell to the recycling companies.

Generation of job opportunities

Recycling of materials and waste products also helps in generating job opportunities to our citizens as resources are saved. Since our country got dependent, there has been a mushrooming of different waste removal companies.Many people are working in these companies as they do not need to have any formal qualifications.Once an Englishman said that a person with no cultural backgrounds is like a tree without roots. These people get money monthly enough to feed body and soul.Many of them are now able to afford paying their children's school fees which will be impossible if there were no visibility of these companies.According to the researches, our country's unemployment rate is above 51%. This declines daily due to the presence of these companies.Finally, it is the government' role to provide jobs to its citizens since they are the one who voted them in power. To add more, people will also be recruited in other manufacturing process of these raw materials such as sorting them, in manufacturing plants to change them into useful materials.

Energy usage

The amount of energy used to recycle materials in the manufacturing process is said to be lower comparing to the production from the scratch.This will lead to more energy resources to be sufficient and available to everyone.More people will have electricity in their homes and at a cheaper price.In addition, few or no money will spent in importing electricity from our neighboring countries as we usually do.The country will be self sufficient in electricity and might have more than enough to export because less energy will spent in the manufacturing plants.

Production of valuable materials

Finally, valuable things can be produced from the recycled materials.Things like necklaces, bracelets, just to mention a few.Old metals for example can also be used for making things like cans, done by mixing it with metal elements such as tin. Also, recycled Paper can be used to produce card boards, newspaper and printing papers. We can also produce materials such as shoes , clothes, and bedding.This will eventually reduce poverty and as a result more people in our country will be independent.

Conclusion

In conclusion, recycling can have many advantages to our country such as keeping the resources for the next generation, generating job opportunities, it uses few energy in the manufacturing process but most importantly; it helps producing valuable materials. Our government should take a big step to make our people aware about these advantages so that we can have a good economic growth.This can be done by either forming awareness campaigns , making it to be a major subject in school or funding and helping people who are willing to form up clubs like cleaning clubs and companies such as rent a drum etc.
