What would you say to the president

edit

A tag has been placed on What would you say to the president, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of What would you say to the president and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from independent reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. ←Signed:→Mr. E. Sánchez Get to know me! / Talk to me!←at≈:→ 03:55, 3 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hey

I responded on my talk page. But, let me tell you right quick, reintroducing the article is not going to help, especially not with a HANGON tag. Let me get you the facts and wait a moment. That's a great way to get blocked, so don't introduce the page again. Meanwhile, you can make a "userfied" article to work on (I'll tell you how to make one if you need me to) so it's not on the mainspace. ←Signed:→Mr. E. Hi Politixx, I am the admin who deleted What Would You Say To The president. I did this under speedy deletion criteria G11, because in my opinion the article was more of a promotional piece than a neutral, encyclopædic description of the site in question. I believe the article could also have been deleted under speedy deletion criteria A7, as it did not assert why the site was important or notable.
If you believe that these two issues can be fixed, I will be very happy to "userfy" the article for you, restoring it into your user space so you can work on it until it meets those criteria, as well as Wikipedia's verifiability and notability guidelines. Any questions, please ask on my talk page. Lankiveil (speak to me) 04:49, 3 October 2008 (UTC).Reply
