December 2015 edit

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing because your account is being used only for vandalism. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: .  Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 15:04, 2 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

Sorry was just experimenting lol

Decline reason:

This unblock request has been declined due to your history of vandalism and/or disruption to this encyclopedia. However, we are willing to give you another chance provided that you can earn back the trust of the Wikipedia community. To be unblocked you need to demonstrate that you are willing and able to contribute positively to Wikipedia. You can do this by:

  1. Click the Edit tab at the top of that article;
  2. Copy the portion of the prose from that article that you will be proposing changes to. However:
     • do not copy the "infobox" from the start of the article (i.e., markup like this: ...);
     • do not copy any image placement code (i.e., markup like this: );
     • do not copy the page's categories from the bottom of the page (i.e., markup like this: );
     • do not copy the stub tag (if there) from the bottom of the page (i.e., markup like this: Foo stub);
  3. Click edit at your talk page, and paste at the bottom under a new section header (like this: == Article title ==) the copied content but do not save yet;
  4. Place your cursor in the edit summary box and paste there an edit summary in the following form which specifies the name of the article you copied from and links to it (this is required for mandatory copyright attribution): "Copied content from exact Name of Article; see that article's history for attribution."
  5. You can now save the page. However, if your edits will include citations to reliable sources (which they should), place at the end of the prose you copied this template reflist-talk and then save.
  • Now, edit that content to propose significant and well researched improvements by editing the selected portion of the article. Please note that we are not looking for basic typo corrections, or small unreferenced additions; your edits should be substantial, and reflect relevant policies.
  • When you are done with your work, re-request unblocking and an administrator will review your proposed edits.
    • If we (including the original blocking admin) are convinced that your proposed edits will improve Wikipedia as an encyclopedia, you will be unblocked.

If you need help while working with your proposed edits, you may add "your question here ~~~~" to your talk page. Thank you. Max Semenik (talk) 15:11, 2 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the unblock template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Max Semenik has given you a possible route back (which I think is generous). Considering the persistence and destructive nature of your vandalism (backed up with edit summaries like "why are people fking stupid now"), I can't see anyone offering you anything more than that - so I suggest you take it. You're supposed to do what Max Semenik told you to do, above. Let me warn you, if you carry on like this you are likely to have your ability to edit this page revoked. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 10:56, 3 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

The problems is that I'm not even allowed to edit anything. How am i supposed to improve an article without editing. ty
Ah, so you can't even edit an article to copy its contents over here. OK, identify the article and section you want to improve and I'll copy it here for you. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 11:45, 3 December 2015 (UTC) (See below Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 12:23, 3 December 2015 (UTC))Reply
  • Wanna summarize more deeply on this article.

Of Mice and Men is a tragedy that was written in the form of a play in 1937. The story is about two traveling ranch workers, George and Lennie, trying to work up enough money to buy their own farm/ranch. As it is set in 1930s America, it provides an insight into The Great Depression, encompassing themes of racism, loneliness, prejudice against the mentally ill, and the struggle for personal independence. Along with The Grapes of Wrath, East of Eden, and The Pearl, Of Mice and Men is one of Steinbeck's best known works. It was made into a movie three times, in 1939 starring Burgess Meredith, Lon Chaney Jr., and Betty Field, in 1982 starring Randy Quaid, Robert Blake and Ted Neeley, and in 1992 starring Gary Sinise and John Malkovich.

Don't keep putting each message in a new unblock template please. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 12:20, 3 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
  • Also, I have just checked from a blocked account, and you can Edit the article yourself to copy the text. If you click the Edit tab you'll get a big red message to say you are not allowed to make changes, but the text is available in the edit window for you to copy. So please follow the instructions given by Max Semenik above. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 12:22, 3 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

{{unblock reviewed|reason=You should probably block off the person that wrote me with this ****.

{{unblock|reason= Please unblock me. I won't vandalize again. Also won't write any inappropriate words or comments.

  • I've had enough of this and I'm revoking your ability edit this talk page now. The admin who reviews your current unblock request is welcome to reinstate talk page access if they see fit, but if they do not then you will need to take any further unblock requests to WP:UTRS.
